Experience
Amber Gallagher comes to Skystone Partners with years of experience and knowledge in executive administrative support, project organization, event planning, and operations management. She loves organizing fine details and seeing the best ways to make a project flow seamlessly from start to finish. Before joining Skystone Partners, Amber worked for many years as an executive assistant in a variety of national and regional nonprofit organizations.
Amber grew up in Colorado and Wisconsin. For the last nineteen years, she has lived in four states and three countries, moving often around the world in support of her husband’s military career. Her family’s final military move brought them to Cincinnati in 2023. Amber fell in love with the Queen City immediately. She is thrilled to call Cincy home and plant deep roots here for herself and her family.
Amber studied chemistry and general business administration at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. She continued her education at North Carolina State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences with a concentration in molecular, cellular, and developmental biology, and minors in genetics, and microbiology. Amber recently completed the ArtsWave Boardway Bound board leadership program and is excited to take on a new role as a board member for a local arts organization. She also volunteers with the School for Creative and Performing Arts PTSO. She is enthusiastic about the opportunity to find new avenues of service and philanthropy in her new home city.
When not at work, Amber can be found maximizing quality time with her husband, three daughters, two dogs, and cat. Living in OTR provides endless opportunity to explore, eat, and enjoy all the city has to offer. Amber appreciates exploring OTR and downtown by foot and experiencing all the festivals, street fairs, music, theater, and sports that make Cincinnati so special. Her favorite festivals thus far have been BLINK and Danger Wheel. Although she is a life-long Green Bay Packer fan, she has also become a big FCC supporter since moving to Cincinnati. Creatively Amber enjoys tending to her large collection of houseplants, home renovation, interior design, and costume creation.
