Before joining Skystone Partners in 2016, Julie spent 13 years at Cincinnati Opera, where she started as database manager, moved into annual giving, planned high-end events, became a major gifts manager, and then became campaign manager for the opera’s New Century Campaign. She oversaw a transition in the organizations’ donor management software, managed volunteer initiatives and worked with board members on major gift solicitations.
She volunteers at Mercy Montessori, served on the development committee of the Down Syndrome Association of Cincinnati in 2017 and supports those who have received a prenatal diagnosis of Down syndrome, was a member of the Cincinnati Chamber C-Change Leadership Class in 2007, chaired the fundraising committee for Give Back Cincinnati: New Orleans in 2006, and was the founder and chair of The Carnegie Arts Center Associate Board.
Julie has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Mandarin Chinese from Kenyon College, where she also led and directed the all-female a cappella group, and participated in a Mandarin Chinese Immersion program at Middlebury College.
